The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has spoken to the BBC about the Black Sea grain deal.
Blinken described Russia’s proposal of getting 50,000 tonnes of grain to half a dozen countries is a “drop in the bucket” compared to the 20 million tonnes from the Black Sea initiative.
He also spoke to BBC News’ Waihiga Mwaura about the current instability in Niger.
